Art and the constant struggle

Do you ever start a painting and then something sidetracks you? Or you only have an hour a day to work on your piece and you struggle to get back into it? You're not alone! I struggle constantly on getting back to a piece and sometimes I have to be in the mood for that particular piece. Otherwise,it's not the same style or colors as when I started. It has taken me years to be okay with having multiple paintings half finished. It's okay to give yourself some grace on not finishing a piece. Eventually you will go back and finish it ! Most likely it will turn out even better then when you started it a month or even a year ago. Most of the time the piece has evolved so much that it's ten times better then you could've ever imagined. Trust me! 😊 Just keep painting and your work will progress!
